As Chairman, NY Investment Sales with JLL Capital Markets, Bob co-leads the investment sales division in New York City.
Bob was Chairman and Founding Partner of Massey Knakal Realty Services, New York’s #1 building sales firm. He started his real estate career in 1984 at CB Richard Ellis where he met Paul J. Massey Jr. They both left CB in 1988 to form Massey Knakal.
From 1988 through 2014, Massey Knakal closed over 6,000 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $23 billion. To date, Bob has been personally responsible for the sale of over 2,000 buildings (generally considered to be the highest total ever for a single broker in New York) and over $18 billion in sales. On December 31, 2014, Cushman & Wakefield acquired Massey Knakal. At Cushman & Wakefield, Bob acted as Chairman of New York Investment Sales. He was ranked the top originating investment sales broker at Cushman & Wakefield, globally, in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Bob joined JLL in September of 2018.
Since 2009, Bob has written a weekly column on the New York City Real Estate Market called Concrete Thoughts for the Commercial Observer. In 1999, at the age of 36, Bob was named to Crain’s New York Business’s Forty Under Forty/New York Rising Stars list for his outstanding achievement in the New York City business community. He is a two-time winner of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Robert T. Lawrence Award in the Most Ingenious Deal of the Year contest.
Ralph Herzka is the chairman and CEO of Meridian Capital Group. Since co-founding the commercial real estate advisory firm in 1991, Mr. Herzka has remained the guiding force behind the company’s evolution from a small Brooklyn-based commercial mortgage brokerage to a national leader in real estate capital markets, having personally arranged over $100 billion in financing. Additionally, Mr. Herzka has led Meridian’s recent expansion into New York City investment sales and retail leasing in 2015 and 2018, respectively.
Mr. Herzka demonstrates an exceptional ability to foster multi-generational relationships with real estate owners and investors and forms critical alliances with lenders to achieve success across the asset spectrum. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
In addition to his professional leadership, Mr. Herzka is a dedicated philanthropist, raising millions of dollars for various organizations over his career. Most notably, he is a passionate participant of Bike4Chai, an annual 180-mile cycling fundraiser for children fighting pediatric illnesses and disabilities.
Mr. Herzka is a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY. He and his wife are proud parents and grandparents.
Myron I. Altschuler is a founding partner of Borah, Goldstein, Altschuler, Nahins & Goidel, P.C. and has practiced in the Landlord/Tenant area for forty-five years. Over this time, he has litigated several milestone cases in the New York Supreme Court involving commercial litigation disputes and entitlement to injunctive relief. He is known for having prosecuted successful non-primary residence proceedings against foreign missions to the United Nations before the Federal Court as well as defending several high-profile cases involving claims of actual partial eviction in the commercial arena.
Mr. Altschuler is also a pioneer in the practice of summary non-payment and holdover proceedings, both residential and commercial. Presently, aside from his busy litigation practice, he is the senior-most partner of the Firm's "Supreme Court'' division and maintains a "hands-on" supervisory approach to the numerous and varied cases litigated by other attorneys in that division.

Our moderator, Daniel F. Roshan, MD, FACOG, FACS, specializes in maternal-fetal medicine, demonstrating an expertise in high-risk pregnancies that is well known in New York City and beyond. At his practice, Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine, Dr. Roshan specializes in recurrent pregnancy losses, preterm labor, multiple pregnancies, thrombophilia and pregnancy, and performing cerclage procedures. He also offers experienced medical care for women faced with chronic disease during pregnancy.
After receiving his medical degree from Tel Aviv University, Dr. Roshan then received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He is board- certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Roshan stays active as a member of many professional organizations, including Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Society, Johns Hopkins Howard Kelly Society, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Society for Human Genetics, the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, Bellevue OB/GYN Society, and the New York Obstetrics Society. He is also the founder of the Sephardic American Medical Society. Dr. Roshan has published over 50 research abstracts and presented original research papers at numerous scientific societies such as: The Society for Gynecological Investigation, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine.
Dr. Jossef Amirian, MD FACC FASE CBNC RPVI, is a board-certified Cardiologist and Internist at Manhattan Cardiology and an Adjunct Instructor of Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Amirian has additional board certifications in the fields of Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Amirian completed his residency training at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center and his advanced sub-specialty cardiology fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He served as Vice President of the American Heart Association Fellows Society of New York and he has been awarded several honors and distinctions including the North Shore LIJ Clinical Science Award and the Lawrence Scherr Scholarly Activity Award. Dr. Amirian has numerous publications in various nationally recognized journals including The Journal of Nuclear Cardiology and The Journal of the American College of Cardiology Cardiovascular Interventions.
Avraham Barzideh, DO is a board-certified anesthesiologist in New York. He is a graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology. He has over 13 years of experience as an anesthesiologist, currently working for North American Partners in Anesthesia. He attended his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Barzideh pursued 4 years in cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Barzideh was Chief Intern during residency at Nassau University Medical Center from 2007 to 2008, and completed his anesthesiology training at the same hospital from 2008 to 2011, with specialized focus in regional anesthesia. Currently Dr. Barzideh practices at North Shore University Hospital, Plainview Hospital and Syosset Hospital and is affiliated with the N.Y.-based Northwell Health and N.Y.-based North American Partners in Anesthesia.
Meital Barzideh, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Associate Residency Program Director at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. She is also the collaborating physician for the Pediatric Ambulatory Surgery program and a member of the department’s Education Committee. Dr. Barzideh received her undergraduate degree from New York University and her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. She completed her Pediatrics residency training at Cohen Children’s Medical Center and Jacobi.
Alan Khadavi, M.D., F.A.A.A.C.I., received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook, graduating magna cum laude. He was named a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He then graduated from medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. Dr. Khadavi completed his pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York, and then went on to complete his allergy and immunology fellowship at Long Island College Hospital. He is a pediatric allergy specialist and board-certified in adult and pediatric allergy/immunology. He has been cited in nationwide journals and has even participated in research and drug trials. He also teaches medical students and residents about current allergy care and treatment.
Dr. Khadavi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI); and a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI). Dr. Khadavi recently enjoyed the privilege of being named a Rising Star in the Los Angeles edition of Super Doctors in the field of Allergy and Immunology. He was also named Most Compassionate Doctor by the Patient Choice Awards in 2013 and 2014. In 2013, 2014 ,2015, 2019 and 2020, he was named to Castle Connolly’s list of Top Doctors. He was given the Vitals Patients’ Choice Award for physicians who provide excellent care and the On Time doctor award as well. Los Angeles Magazine recently named him a “Top Doc” for its 2019 edition.
